Echo Picnic is a Sydney-based luxury picnic and event provider centered on the idea of “deluxe picnics with purpose.” Founded by a Colombian expat, we have grown beyond curated outdoor experiences into a community-driven initiative that fosters digital detoxing, cultural connection, and mindful living. Core Services & Initiatives Luxury Picnic Experiences We design high-end, bespoke picnic setups for special occasions such as proposals, birthdays, and anniversaries, set in some of Sydney’s most iconic outdoor locations. Each experience is thoughtfully curated with a focus on aesthetics, comfort, and intentional connection. Digital Detox Retreats In collaboration with Unplug & Read, we host forest retreats and intimate library gatherings that encourage participants to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature, reading, and self-reflection. Spanish Language Library At the heart of our initiative is a personal library of over 1,300 Spanish-language books, created to serve Sydney’s Latino community. This space also welcomes cultural workshops, reading sessions, and meaningful community encounters. Community & Cultural Events We regularly organize events that celebrate Colombian and broader Latino culture, including Colombian Independence Day festivities and Christmas gatherings, fostering a strong sense of belonging and cultural pride within the community.
