At Sydney Picnic Co., we make picnics — really good ones. We provide authentic and meaningful picnic dining experiences in a fast-paced, modern world by offering fine picnic food and beautiful settings where guests can choose their view, relax, and enjoy fresh, high-quality food while spending time with great company in Sydney’s harbourside surroundings. Founded in 2008 by Simon and Natalie Thomas, our company was inspired by a passion for food, creativity, and bringing simple, joyful experiences to people’s lives. We focus on homemade, hand-prepared-style gourmet picnic menus using seasonal, high-quality produce. Our picnics are served with biodegradable cutlery, plates, cups, and napkins to support sustainability. Our picnic experiences are designed for 2 people, with group catering options available for 10 to 50 guests. Popular picnic options include Wind in the Willows – $175, Garden of Eden – $200, and The Great Gatsby – $235, with additional servings available per person. For larger group events, menu packages start from $50–$95 per person, including vegetarian and gourmet picnic menus featuring items such as cheeses, roasted vegetables, cured meats, seafood, and handmade desserts. Please note that we currently offer picnic services for 2 guests on Saturdays, while group bookings of more than 10 people are available Wednesday to Saturday. We primarily focus on providing high-quality food experiences and do not offer picnic setup services. Our goal is to create memorable moments through simple, fresh, and beautifully prepared picnic dining.
