I'm Suzette, the heart and soul behind La TAS Events. Born and raised in a bustling household of six children, my upbringing was filled with warmth, love, and endless celebrations. From a young age, I was captivated by the art of hospitality, thanks to my beloved mother, who was the epitome of grace and charm as she effortlessly hosted gatherings with elegance and flair. I fondly recall the joy of assisting my mother in setting the table for various occasions, eagerly awaiting the moment to announce to guests, "La Table est Servie" – a phrase that would later inspire the name of my company, La TAS. In 2006, I experienced the profound loss of my mother, a moment that left me grappling with grief and searching for ways to channel my love into meaningful expression. Then, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and following the passing of my father, I found solace in creating beautiful experiences for others, paying homage to my parents' legacy of hospitality and love. With a diverse background in healthcare as a dedicated nurse, my passion for nurturing others seamlessly transitioned into my newfound venture. What began as a passion project during quarantine, hosting posh picnics as a tribute to my father's memory, blossomed into the flourishing business that is La TAS Events today.
